Hotkey to activate Listary

You can change it in Listary Options – Hotkeys.
Search result hotkeys
You can use these hotkeys to navigate search results. Change them in Listary Options – Hotkeys.
Down arrow
orCtrl + N
: Select next item.Up arrow
orCtrl + P
: Select previous item.Right arrow
orCtrl + O
: Enter Actions menu for the selected search result.Esc
: Hide Listary search bar / Exit Actions.
Commands hotkeys
The following hotkeys work when:
- Listary search bar or menu is visible. You can use these hotkeys in file dialogs directly because Listary search bar is visible by default.
- Or the “Enable Listary hotkeys” setting is checked in Listary Options – App Settings for the current application. It’s checked by default for Windows Explorer, so you can use these hotkeys in Explorer directly without activating Listary first.
Ctrl + G
: Let the file dialog navigate to the current folder in Explorer.Ctrl + Shift + C
: Copy the path of the selected file in Explorer to clipboard.Ctrl + Shift + R
: Open command prompt for the current folder.Ctrl + Shift + X
: Show/hide file extensions.Ctrl + Shift + H
: Show/hide hidden files.Ctrl + Shift + O
: Let the file dialog open the selected file in Explorer.Ctrl + Shift + E
: Open a new Explorer window for the current folder.
You can change these hotkeys in Listary Options – Menus – Commands (select it from the drop-down menu).
Action hotkeys
After selecting a search result in Listary, you can use the following hotkeys:
Ctrl + Enter
: Open parent folder of this search result.Ctrl + Shift + C
: Copy the path of this search result to clipboard.Ctrl + C
: Copy this search result to clipboard (in file format).Alt + S
: Open Send to menu for this result.Alt + O
: Open Open with menu for this result.
You can change them in Listary Options – Actions.
